ABOUT ME

My name is Devon, and I am a storyteller.

My story began in the beautiful, grey city of Portland, OR. Although born and raised in Portland, I now live in Chicago, where I study Advertising, Public Relations, and Philosophy at DePaul University, while working and creating on the side.

The impetus for my move to Chicago was the same driving force that fuels most of my decisions: my insatiable need for creative, social, and intellectual exploration. Throughout each chapter of my life, this curiosity about unfamiliar places and people has led me to seek out new experiences in hopes of expanding my perspective.

Currently, my need for creative fulfillment is challenging me to deepen my understanding of storytelling. By storytelling, I don't mean merely writing stories, but rather crafting narratives in a variety of contexts and mediums. For me, this includes creating narratives through branding, content development, creative writing, music, fashion, event production, photography and more.
